2 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Thursday, 2 discharged

Aug 19: Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, out of which 02 were found positive during Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none more was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 25 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 561 RAT tests and 68 RT-PCR tests were done. 02 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,858 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,410 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 02 persons were were found positive in Hailakandi on Wednessday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 520 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
