Final voter list for Silchar Municipal Corporation published

way2barak, July 8 : In a significant development ahead of the municipal polls, the Office of the District Commissioner, Cachar, on Tuesday, announced the publication of the Final Voter List, 2025 for Silchar Municipal Corporation. The updated list, released on July 8, follows the completion of the due process of addressing all claims and objections submitted by citizens within the stipulated timeframe.

Residents of Silchar are encouraged to check their names and particulars in the voter roll to ensure accuracy and avoid any inconvenience during the upcoming elections. To facilitate easy access, the voter list has been made available on the OERMS portal as well as on the official website of the District Commissioner, Cachar.

The District Administration has issued this notice to create wide public awareness and to urge all eligible voters to verify their details at the earliest.
