6 new +ve cases in Assam, total goes up to 141

May 19: Early during the day, 20 COVID-19 positive cases were reported from various districts of Assam. On Tuesday evening, 6 more positive cases were reported from the state.

• 3 from Guwahati: Out of them, 2 are related to a cancer patient who lost his life at GMCH. Now his wife & daughter have been infected.
• 1 from Sarusajai Sports Compex quarantine centre
• 2 from Karimganj

With these 6 new cases, the total cases detected on Tuesday stands at 26. This is the highest single day detection of COVID-19 in the state. However, the total count of Assam stands at 141. At present, there are 94 active cases in Assam.

Alert – 6 new #COVID + cases confirmed. Out of the 3 from Guwahati, 2 are related to a cancer patient who lost his life at GMCH (wife & daughter). 2 patients are from Karimganj and one from Sarusajai quarantine centre. Total patient count goes up to 141.
