₹55,000 for murder, ₹5000 for thrashing: UP gang posts online rate chart for crime service

Nov. 4: When the entire country is set for a digital move, the criminal gangs too tries to match the footsteps and offer online rate chart for crime services. Such an unusual rate chart by a gang in Uttar Pradesh has come to light, which has gone viral in the social media.

In a shocking display of brazenness, a youth uploaded slew of photos and is seen holding a pistol. He posted a rate chart of the ‘services’ that the group provides. The picture of the rate chart which has gone viral on social media lists the amount of money the gang will charge to commit crimes.

According to the chart, the amount ranges from Rs 10,000-55,000. For issuing threats, Rs 1000 will be charged, to beat up somebody the price is Rs 5,000, to injure someone Rs 10,000 is charged and to commit murder Rs 55,000. Further, the gang even promises to resolve land disputes and promises ‘satisfactory services.’

After the post became viral on social media, the police stepped in and searched for the young man who had uploaded the disturbing post. The youth was subsequently identified as a resident of Chowkada village of Charathaval police station area. The police said the matter is being investigated and action will be taken in the case soon.
