68 found Covid +ve in Assam on Tuesday, active cases 362 in the state

June 28: On Tuesday, out of 902 tests, 68 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,715. The positivity rate in the state is 7.54 percent. Out of the 68 positive cases, 57 were detected from Kamrup Metro, 06 from Kamrup Rural and 01 each from Goalpara and Hojai.

Further, on Tuesday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.85 percent. 12 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,16,365 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 362 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 60 persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
