মণ্ডপ উদ্বোধন, চতুর্থীতেই শুরু উধারবন্দের দেবীদর্শনTitanic unveiled at Udharbond, Puja Pandal inaugurated
১৩ সেপ্টেম্বরঃ চতুর্থীতেই দুর্গোৎসব শুরু উধারবন্দে। এ অবশ্য বেশ কয়েক বছর ধরেই চলছে। তাই তিন বা চারদিনের পুজো নয়, এখানে সাত দিনের দুর্গোৎসব। উপত্যকার তিন জেলা থেকে কয়েক লক্ষ মানুষের সমাগম হয়। এবারও শনিবার, চতুর্থী তিথিতেই উধারবন্দে দুটি বিগ বাজেটের মণ্ডপের উদ্বোধন হল। সঙ্গে শুরু হয়েছে প্রতিমা দর্শনও।
সন্ধ্যা ৫টায় কালীবাড়ী রোড সার্বজনীন দুর্গা পূজা কমিটির মণ্ডপের উদ্বোধন করেন রামকৃষ্ণ সেবাশ্রম সংঘের গণধিশানন্দ মহারাজ । বিদ্যাসাগর সেতু উদ্বোধন করেন ভারত সেবাশ্রম সংঘের মৃন্ময়ানন্দ মহারাজ ও প্রতিমার আবরণ উন্মোচন করেন কাছাড়ের জেলাশাসক ডা. এস লক্ষ্মণন । সঙ্গে ছিলেন রাজ্যের প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রী অজিত সিং, বিধায়ক মিহিরকান্তি সোম, সার্কল অফিসার কুলদীপ হাজারিকা, উধারবন্দ থানার ওসি শিবলাল কুমার প্রমুখ ।
কালীবাড়ী রোড সর্বজনীন দুর্গা পূজা কমিটি এবার টাইটানিকের আদলে নিখুঁত মণ্ডপ তৈরি করেছে। শিল্পী পশ্চিমবঙ্গের প্রদীপ ভুঁইয়া । জাহাজের নিচের অংশ দিয়ে মূল মণ্ডপে প্রবেশ করতে হবে দর্শনার্থীদের। ভিতরে সমুদ্রের তলদেশকে তুলে ধরেছেন আয়োজকরা। ৪৯টি অ্যাকুরিয়ামে ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছে বিভিন্ন ধরনের ২৫ হাজার সামুদ্রিক মাছ । ছোটবড় সামুদ্রিক শঙ্খ দিয়ে তৈরি করা হয়েছে বিশাল দুর্গা প্রতিমা ।
প্রতিমার পিছনে থ্রিডি স্ক্রিনে ভেসে উঠছে সমুদ্রের বিভিন্ন দৃশ্য। দেখে মনে হয়, সমুদ্রের গর্ভ থেকে দেবী দুর্গার আবির্ভাব ঘটছে । তাছাড়া ভিতরে রয়েছে শঙ্খ দিয়ে তৈরি বিভিন্ন ধরনের নিখুঁত কারুকার্য । এছাড়া, বাইরে চলন্ত টাইটানিকের ধোঁয়ায় ফুটে উঠেছে আরও বিভিন্ন ধরনের দৃশ্য । তাছাড়া টাইটানিকের পাশে রয়েছে হুগলির বিদ্যাসাগর সেতু । দুপাশে ফুটপাত সহ প্রায় দুই শতাধিক লাইট দিয়ে সাজানো হয়েছে সেতুটি । নিখুঁতভাবে তৈরি এই বিদ্যাসগর সেতু । একশত টাকার কুপন সংগ্ৰহ করে এই সেতু দিয়ে সরাসরি মণ্ডপে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন দর্শনার্থীরা । উদ্বোধনের দিনই ভিড়ে ঠাসা মণ্ডপ চত্বর ।
এদিকে একই দিনে মণ্ডপ উদ্বোধন করা হয় হাসপাতাল রোড সার্বজনীন দুর্গা পূজা কমিটির মণ্ডপ ও প্রতিমার। উদ্বোধন করেন সাইবার বিশেষজ্ঞ তথা যুক্ত এনজিওর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সঞ্চালক সুবিমল ভট্টাচার্য । সম্পূর্ণ প্রতিমা বিভিন্ন ধরনের রঙিন সুতো দিয়ে নিখুঁত ভাবে তৈরি করা হয়েছে । এমনকি দেবী দূর্গার অলঙ্কার সমূহও তৈরি করা হয়েছে সুতো দিয়ে । ওয়াট ট্রাইমিটের আদলে মণ্ডপ তৈরি করলেও পরিবেশ সচেতনতার উপর জোর দিয়েছেন আয়োজনকরা।
October 13: The slight nip in the air, the pujo-pujo feel, cooking up hearty meals, and a vibrant and carefree ambiance engulfs Barak Valley at the moment. With Durga Puja only days away, the mood of festivity has sunk in making everybody crave the arrival of the most cherished autumn festival of the Bengalis.
People have started pouring in at Udharbond, and just like every year, the madness is about to begin. The entire Puja pandal of Kalibari Road Sarbojonin Durga Puja is dressed in vibrant colours, pretty lights, artistic concept with a huge Titanic afloat. Udharbond since the last few years has remained as a centre of attraction for many. Today on the day of ‘Chaturthi’, the pandal was inaugurated at 5 in the evening.
The pandal was inaugurated by the Secretary of Silchar Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram Swami Ganadhishananda Maharaj. Also present during the occasion were Swami Mrinmayananda Maharaj of Silchar Bharat Sevashram Sanga, Dr. S. laksmanan, Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, former Minister Ajit Singh, MLA Mihir Kanti Shome, Circle Officer Kuldip Hazarika, OC of Udharbond Police Station Shivlal Kumar and others.
This year Kali Bari Road Sarbajanin Durga puja Committee has made an excellent pandal decoration. It’s indeed a feast for the eyes. They have made a replica of the famous 20th century mega ship titanic which sank during its maiden voyage. It has been designed by artist pradip Bhuiya of West Bengal. The visiors will hace to enter from the bottom of the ship inside the pandal. Inside the pandal, the interior of sea has been depicted. Theyhave fitted 49 aquariums inside it wherein there are around 25000 marine fishes of various types. The idol was made by conch shells of various sizes.
Behind the idol of Goddess Durga is a jiant 3d screen where various scenes from the ocean are depicted. On looking minutely, it appears that the idol of Durga is rising from beneath the ocean. Apart from this, various things made out of conch is on diplay inside the Titanic.
The smoke emitting out of the chimney of Titanic is another thing worth seeing. Just besides the Titanic, the Vidyasagar Bridge at Hoogly has also been depicted. The visitors can purchase special tickets wirth Rs.100 each and can enter the pandal through this bridge. Crowds in large number thronged the pandal to catch a glimpse of the Titanic.
