ABVP distribute flowers to bike riders without helmet

Silchar 12: Road Safety Awareness campaigns are required to be promoted more effectively so as to draw the public attention and  bring consciousness among them. The main motto is to put a brake to daily road accidents by drawing public attention very effectively to a level of bountiful. The 31st National Road Safety Week started on 11 January and will continue till 17 January, 2020.

In order to make the bike riders understand the importance of wearing helmet, Silchar unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) distributed flowers to the bike riders who were without helmets. All such bike riders felt ashamed to get greeted by flowers for disobeying traffic norms.

The members of ABVP urged upon them to always wear helmet when on road, which is a must as per traffic regulations and also is a prerequisite from the safety point of view of the riders. They also distributed leaftet containing road safety rules.
