33 tests Covid-19 +ve in Cachar on Tuesday

April 20: On Tuesday, 33 new cases of COVID-19 was reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 1,755 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, a total of 31 persons were found positive, whereas 02 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Tuesday night. However, on Monday night, the total positive cases increased and reached 60 (32 RTPCR & 28 RAT).

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,830. Further, a total of 11,560 patients were discharged in the district as of now.  At present, 24 patients are admitted at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH), 11 at green Heals Pvt Hospital, 06 at MH, 03 at SM Dev Civil Hospital, whereas, 188 others are in home isolation. There are 232 active cases in Cachar district.
