2 found Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, 1 discharged

Sept. 3: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Friday, Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 cases. The district has altogether 10 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 734 RAT tests and 75 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,875 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,442 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,398 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
