Additional Director General BSF Ravi Gandhi visited Manipur

way2barak, April 25: Ravi Gandhi, Additional Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF) Eastern Command visited Manipur to conduct a comprehensive review of the operational scenario and assess the Force’s preparedness.

On 24 April 2025, the ADG BSF arrived at Tulihal International Airport, Imphal, Manipur where he was received by Shri Indra Deo Singh, IG BSF and later, he along with IG BSF, met Sh Kuldiep Singh, Security Advisor. Thereafter, he arrived at HQ Koirengei Sector BSF CI (Ops), Manipur, where he conducted a detailed operational review.

Further, during the day, he visited various BSF locations in Senapati and Kangpokpi districts, Manipur and interacted with commanders and troops deployed at various locations in the two districts. He commended their unwavering dedication and professionalism towards maintaining law & order situation in Manipur and encouraged them to continue performing their duties with the highest level of commitment and zeal.

He further visited Police Headquarters and had meeting with Sh Rajiv Singh, IPS, DGP, followed by meeting with Chief Secretary, Manipur.

He also visited Raj Bhavan and apprised the Hon’ble Governor about the security situation, duties performed by BSF troops and the operational preparedness of troops.
