93 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Friday, 134 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec. 24: On Friday, out of 28,111 tests, 93 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,20,025. The positivity rate in the state is 0.33 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 47 positive cases during the day. Further, on Friday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,155. The recovery rate is 98.65 percent. Also, 134 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 859 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Thursday, 113 persons tested positive in Assam and 01 death was registered.
