4 more corona +ve cases in Assam with Nizamuddin connection, total rises to 20

৩ এপ্রিল: আরও ৪ জন নিজামফেরতের দেহে করোনা ভাইরাস ধরা পড়েছে৷ নিজের টুইটারে এ তথ্য দিয়েছেন রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্য, অর্থ, শিক্ষা ও পূর্ত মন্ত্রী ড. হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা৷

তিনি জানান, নতুন আক্রান্তদের তিনজনের বাড়ি নলবাড়িতে, অন্যজন দক্ষিণ শালমারার বাসিন্দা৷ এ নিয়ে অসমে করোনায় সংক্রামিতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়াল ২০৷

April 3: The last 24 hours were of some respite for the inhabitants of Assam as no positive cases were further reported from the state. The total tally remained at 16. However, on 3 April at 5 PM. State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted and informed that four more patients have been found coronavirus positive in the state. Out of them, 3 are from Nalbari and 1 belongs to South Salmara. With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in Assam went to 20.

Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ Four more patients have been found #Covid_19 positive. Three of these are from Nalbari, and one is from South Salmara, taking total no in Assam to 20.” 

State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma declared in his twitter handle at 12.15 AM on 2 April that another 3 persons in the state were also tested coronavirus positive. These 3 detected cases also has a history of being in Nizamuddin Markaz. Around 3 hours ago on that day, 8 positive cases were reported. The samples of these 8 were tested at Jorhat Medical College. The 1st case from Badarpur (in Karimganj district) was reported on 31 March who is admitted at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH).
