Two pairs of trains cancelled on the hill section

way2barak, Aug 23: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) continues restoration work near New Harangajao station following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2). Train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place. In view of the ongoing restoration work, NFR has announced the following additional changes in train services:

Cancellation of Trains:

 Train No. 15617 (Guwahati – Dullabcherra) Express commencing journey on 24.08.2026 has been cancelled.

 Train No. 15618 (Dullabcherra – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 25.08.2026 has been cancelled.

 Train No. 15615 (Guwahati – Silchar) Express commencing journey on 24.08.2026 has been cancelled.

 Train No. 15616 (Silchar – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 25.08.2026 has been cancelled.

Rescheduling of Trains:

 Train No. 15650 (Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 24.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Narangi at 18:30 hrs.

 Train No. 20501 (Agartala – Anand Vihar Terminal) Tejas Express commencing journey on 24.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Agartala at 19:00 hrs.

 Train No. 14037 (Silchar – New Delhi) Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express commencing journey on 24.08.2026 has been rescheduled to depart from Silchar at 22:10 hrs.

Regulation of Train:

 Train No. 12501 (Kolkata – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 23.08.2026 will be regulated enroute suitably.
