HSLC Results to be declared by SEBA on 15 May

May 4: The results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) & High Madrassa examination under the Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) will be declared on15 May, 2019. In 2017, SEBA had declared the HSLC and Assam High Madrassa Examination results on May 31 while in 2018, the results of the examination were declared on May 25. As per sources, a high-level meeting was held at SEBA office where it was decided to declare the Class 10 results on May 15, 2019.

All the Officer-In-Charge of the Centres of HSLC/AHM Examination, 2019 shall have to collect the packets containing Results Summary of State along with complete results in CD, Marks Sheet and Pass Certificate etc. of the candidates of their respective Centre from the Office of the Inspector of Schools concerned on 15 May at 7 AM onwards and the Head of the Institutions will have to collect the same from the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned Centre just before 11 AM. The Packets cannot be opened by the Head of the Institution before 11 AM.

Further, the Candidates intending to get their evaluated Answer Scripts re-checked will have to apply through the SEBA’s online portal hfros://sebaonline.org and click on the link “RECHECKING OR PHOTOCOPY WITH RE-CHECKING OF ANSWER SCRIPTS” within 15th days from the date of publication of Results.

High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination and the High Madrassa examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) started from 14 February, 2019. A total of 3,52, 143 candidates appeared in the exam from different centres in Assam.

For the first time, the bar code was introduced in the answer sheets. The students were allowed to use only black pens while writing their papers. Flying squads were also deployed in the “sensitive” centres and CCTV cameras installed in all the centres. The HSLC examinations concluded on March 6th, 2019 and was held in as many as 857 centres. For the first time, SEBA introduced question papers in Braille for the visually impaired candidates appearing for the HSLC examination 2019.
