570 kgs of Ganja seized by 1 Bn BSF from a truck at Digarkhal, 2 nabbed

July 9: Huge quantity of ganja was seized by 1 Bn BSF on Friday night at NH-06. Around 570 kg of Ganja worth Rs.1 crore was seized from a truck bearing No.TS-08UA 4634 at Digarkhal, Cachar.  Further, 22 ton Benitonite powder was also seized. Two persons, the driver and the handyman, both from Andhra Pradesh were apprehended. The contraband items along with the two apprehended were handed over to Gumrah police by the BSF.
