Chinmoy Krishna Das granted parole to attend mother’s funeral

way2barak, September 11: Former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, who is currently in Bangladesh jail in connection with different cases, was released on five-hour parole today following the death of his mother.

Chattogram District Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Zahidul Islam Mia ordered his release at around 2:30pm following an application from Chinmoy’s family.

“Following an application by his brother over the death of his mother, we have passed order to release Chinmoy Krishna from jail on parole for five hours in accordance with the law,” DC Zahidul Islam Mia told.
