120 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Tuesday, 68 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec. 28: On Tuesday, out of 31,517 tests, 1033 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,20,357. The positivity rate in the state is 0.38 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 55 positive cases during the day. Further, on Tuesday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,160. The recovery rate is 98.66 percent. Also, 68 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 791 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 103 persons tested positive in Assam and 02 deaths were registered.
