82 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Tuesday, 33 discharged

June 1: Hailakandi registered 82 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Of the 82 positive cases detected on Tuesday, 72 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 10 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 1,486 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,586 RAT tests and 323 RT-PCR tests were done. 33 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 133 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 6,351.

As of now, in the 55,611 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 16,340 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
