২৬ সেপ্টেম্বরঃ বড় ধরনের অগ্নিকাণ্ড থেকে রক্ষা পেল শিলচর ক্লাব রোড। বেলা সাড়ে এগারোটা নাগাদ আচমকা আগুন লেগে যায় হেস্টি টেস্টি রেস্টুরেন্টে। ছুটোছুটি শুরু হয়ে যায় অন্য দোকানিদের।

খবর যায় দমকল বাহিনীর কাছে। তবে তাদের ইঞ্জিন আসার আগেই রেস্টুরেন্ট কর্মচারী সহ স্থানীয় জনতার ততপরতায় আগুন নিভে যায়। স্বস্তির নিঃশ্বাস ফেলেন কাছাকাছি এলাকার ব্যবসায়ী সহ সাধারণ জনতা।

September 26: A restaurant was luckily saved from major mishap after fire broke out in it. On Wednesday, at around 11.30 in the morning, fire broke out at Hasty Tasty Restaurant at Club Road. A hue and cry was raised at once and panic spread among the shopkeepers in the vicinity.

Fire service was informed at once. However, before the arrival of fire brigades, the employees of the restaurant along with the local people brought the fire under control. People of the surrounding area heaved a sigh of relief. When the fire brigade reached the spot, people were able to extinguish the fire.
