21 new Covid-19 +ve cases detected in Hailakandi on Friday, active cases 92

April 30: Hailakandi reported 21 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the coronavirus tally in the district to 3,501. With these new cases, the district has altogether 92 active COVID-19 cases while 3,386 patients have been discharged. 21 patients are presently undergoing treatment at SK Roy Civil Hospital, one at Silchar Medical College and Hospital, 67 kept under home isolation and three in other districts.

Altogether 1,79,207 samples for COVID-19 have been tested so far, including 1442 samples taken in the last 24 hours. Results of 449 samples are awaited from SMC&H. The district has accounted for nine COVID deaths.
