সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় যুবকের মৃত্যু
Youth dies in street accident

১২ ফেব্রুয়ারিঃ চরগোলা ও ভাঙ্গার মধ্যবর্তী সড়কে দুর্ঘটনায় প্রাণ হারালেন ২২ বছরের যুবক। নিহতের নাম সুমন দাস। তার বাড়ি শনবিল ফাকুয়ায়। তবে অনেকদিন ধরে করিমগঞ্জ শহরের নীলমণি রোডে ভাড়াবাড়িতে থাকতেন।

মঙ্গলবার রাত নটা নাগাদ এই দুর্ঘটনা সংঘটিত হয়। সুমন স্কুটিতে যাচ্ছিলেন। সামনে ছিল বেশ কিছু জিনিস। আচমকা একটি ট্রাকের সঙ্গে মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ বাঁধে। ঘটনাস্থলেই মৃত্যু হয় তাঁর।

খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে ছুটে যায়। মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করে হাসপাতালে পাঠায়।

February 12: A 22-year old youth lost his life in a street accident in between Bhanga and Chargola. The deceased was identified as Suman Das.

He is a resident of Sonbil in Fakua. But he used to stay of late in a rented house at Nilmani Road, Karimganj. The accident took place on Tuesday at around 9 in the night. Suman was on his scooty. He has kept some commodities on his scooty.

Suddenly, there was a head-on collision of his scooty with a truck. Suman died on the spot.  On being informed, police forces reached the spot at once. Police recovered the body and took it to hospital.
