Falling short of the majority mark, the party is relying on support from others, with Congress already signalling backing through a formal letter. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Congress leaders met Vijay for key consultations. With reports suggesting Vijay may take oath as Chief Minister on May 7, Tamil Nadu appears set for a major political transition.
