Thursday ends with 24 new +ve cases in Assam, total rises to 880

May 28: Another 24 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from 8 districts of Assam. This was informed in a tweet by State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 11.55 PM on Thursday. here is the break-up of the 24 new cases:

• 11 Goalpara
• 3 Nalbari
• 3 Tinsukia
• 2 Dibrugarh,
• 1 Kamrup
• 1 Nagaon
• 1 Karbi Anglong
• 1 Dhubri
• 1 yet to be ascertained

With the 24 new cases, the total number of COVID-19 positive case in the state has gone up to 880, out of which 770 are active cases. Till now, 103 persons were recovered in Assam.
