SVEEP activities : quiz, extempore speech and drama to take centre stage on April 1

way2barak, March 30:— In an earnest effort to bring the spirit of democracy closer to the people, the District Administration Cachar is set to organise a series of vibrant SVEEP activities in the run-up to the Assembly Election 2026. With a focus on creating awareness and encouraging meaningful participation, the initiative aims to connect with citizens through interactive and expressive platforms that highlight the importance of voting.

The SVEEP activity is scheduled to be held on 1st April, 2026 at the Auditorium Hall of Women’s College, Silchar from 11:00 A.M. onwards. The event is expected to witness enthusiastic participation, especially from young minds, turning the occasion into a lively celebration of informed citizenship and democratic values.

As part of the programme, a quiz competition, extempore speech, and drama performances will be organised on electoral participation.

Adding further significance to the occasion, Additional District Commissioner Jagriti Kalwar, ACS will grace the event, encouraging participants.
