Barak Valley gets new DDIPR

June 14: In a latest development, Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli assigned the post of in-charge of Deputy Director, Information & Public Relations (DDIPR) to Assistant Commissioner Abhilash Baranwal. DC Jalli entrusted him as in-charge of DDIPR, Barak Valley Zone. An order in this connection was issued by the Deputy Commissioner on Saturday. In the order, DC Jalli stated that Abhilash Baranwal will disburse the onus of DDIPR along with his normal duties.

However, it has not yet been ascertained whether DDIPR Indrani Goswami is on leave or there are some others reasons for assigning an in-charge DDIPR. It needs mention here that Abhilas Baranwal is also the new Assisting Officer of Silchar Municipal Board (SMB).
