Special Lok Adalat to be held from August 21 to 23

way2barak, May 13:—–The Supreme Court of India has announced the commencement of “SAMADHAN SAMAROH 2026” Supreme Court Action for Mediated Adjudication and Disputes Harmonization Across Nation with the objective of strengthening the vision of participative justice and ensuring doorstep delivery of justice through consensual dispute resolution mechanisms.

The initiative will commence from April 21, 2026 and culminate in a Special Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on August 21, 22 and 23, 2026 at the Supreme Court of India. The Special Lok Adalat has been conceived to facilitate amicable settlement of pending matters before the Apex Court through mediation and consent-based adjudication processes.

The Supreme Court has appealed to advocates, litigants and all stakeholders to actively participate in the initiative and contribute towards effective and harmonious resolution of disputes. Parties will have the option to participate both physically and virtually through the designated online platform for settlement proceedings.

Interested parties and their counsels may submit their requests by filling up the prescribed Google Form available at: Google Form Link, :https//forms.gle/pRWbif6wAPrcgMsZ8

The Google Form is also accessible through the official website of the Supreme Court of India, https://www.sci.gov.in . The last date for submission of applications is May 31, 2026.
