Round the clock election control room reopens

way2barak, March 24:-–In preparation for the forthcoming Assembly Election 2026, the Election Monitoring & Control Room Cell has been reestablished at the NIC Video Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Office of the District Commissioner, Cachar. The initiative aims to provide a responsive and reliable platform for addressing public concerns and monitoring election-related activities across the district.
The Control Room will function round the clock, ensuring that any information, complaints, or reports related to the electoral process are promptly received and acted upon. Citizens are encouraged to actively participate by reporting any violations of the Model Code of Conduct, election-related grievances, or suspicious activities that may affect the integrity of the electoral process.
For assistance, the public may reach the Election Control Room at 03842-284144. Additionally, queries related to electoral rolls and voter information can be addressed through the toll-free helpline 18003453965, which has been made available for the convenience of voters seeking clarification or support.
The district administration has appealed to all citizens to extend their cooperation in upholding a peaceful, transparent, and fair election environment.
