13 gold bars worth Rs 1.12 crore seized by RPF from a train in Assam, 4 arrested

Oct. 6: Railway Protection Force (RPF) seized 13 gold bars weighing 2.15 kg, concealed in shoes, bags and waistbands in the down Avadh Assam Express. The raid was conducted by the RPF acting on a tip-off. The market worth of the seized gold bars is Rs. 1,12 crore. Four persons were arrested in this connection. Out of them, three are from West Bengal and one from Jharkhand.
