1834 patients discharged in Assam on Wednesday
September 2: on Wednesday, 1834 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 88,726 persons got cured and subsequently discharged from varios hospitals and Covid Care Centres in the state. At present, there are 26,227 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1834 patients discharged today Gratitude to medical team for playing a crucial role in this fight against pandemic by saving lives of many.”
Also, 3,555 fresh cases of COVID-19 were detected from across Assam on Wednesday. With this, the state tally has now gone upto 1,15,279. Further, Assam also registered 8 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Wednesday, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 323.
