Passenger Trains Suspended During Night Hours at Hill Section

way2barak, 25th July : Due to settlement of the railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2) near New Harangajao station, train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section have been disrupted. At present, all train movements on this route are being operated through Line-3 under strict monitoring and enhanced safety measures.

In the interest of passenger safety, the operation of passenger-carrying trains through the affected section has been suspended during night hours from 19:00 hrs to 05:00 hrs. During daytime, trains are being allowed to pass through the section under regulated conditions and continuous monitoring.

Consequently, several trains have been rescheduled, cancelled and regulated. Railway personnel, engineering teams and heavy machinery have been deployed on a war footing to restore the affected track section at the earliest and normal train operations are expected to resume as soon as the work is completed safely.

 Train No. 15650 (Narangi – Agartala) Express commencing journey on 25.07.26 & 26.07.26 has been rescheduled to start at 22:30 hours

 Train No. 15649 (Agartala – Narangi) Express commencing journey on 25.07.26 & 26.07.26 has been rescheduled to start at 23:00 hours

 Train No. 15609 (Guwahati – Sairang) Express commencing journey on 25.07.26 & 26.07.26 has been rescheduled to start at 23:30 hours

 Train No. 15610 (Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on 25.07.26 & 26.07.26 has been rescheduled to start at 21:30 hours
