Heroine worth Rs 18 crores recovered, one Manipur resident arrested

way2barak May 28: Acting on reliable input last night regarding the illegal transportation of Narcotics, during naka checking, a Mahindra bolero vehicle bearing reg no AS12U7746 coming from Mizoram side was intercepted .

Upon searching vehicle in the presence of independent witnesses and under videography, the following articles were recovered and seized:

a) 60,000 of suspected YABA tablets

b) one mobile phone.

The DDK kit showed positive for Methamphetamine.

The details of the apprehended persons are as follows:

1. Ngamlen, aged 44 years  S/O: Dongthang, Vill: Zaolen Kumbipukhru, PS: Churachandpur,  Dist: Churachandpur, State: Manipur

Value in Black Market worth Rs 18 crores approximately.

Police informs, further legal action is being taken.
