Assam registers 2 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Sunday, toll reaches 1037

Dec. 27: On Sunday, two more persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 1037. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The two deceased were identified as:

• Atabul Khan (62) of Kamrup Metro
• Gonga Chetry (55) of Tinsukia
