Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi files nomination in Nagaon

March 24: Eight candidates including sitting MP from Kaliabar, Gaurav Gogoi and sitting MP from Dibrugarh Rameswar Teli have filed nominations for five Lok Sabha constituencies which are going to polls on April 11. Five constituencies—Lakhimpur, Tezpur, Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Kaliabar–are going to polls during the first phase to be held on April 11.

A total of 75,16,284 electorates are set to cast their votes during the first phase of polling in Assam on April 11. The results of the Lok Sabha Polls will be declared on 23 May, 2019.
