Assam University’s Business Administration Department Climbs National Ranking
জাতীয় র‍্যাঙ্কিংয়ে দুই ধাপ এগোল আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগ

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৬ ডিসেম্বর : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগ ফরচুন ইন্ডিয়া বেস্ট বি-স্কুলস র‌্যাঙ্কিং ২০২৫-এ উল্লেখযোগ্য সাফল্য অর্জন করেছে। এ মাসের ১০ তারিখ প্রকাশিত ফরচুন ইন্ডিয়া পত্রিকার সর্বশেষ সমীক্ষা অনুযায়ী, সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠান বিভাগের মধ্যে বিভাগটি দু’ধাপ এগিয়ে ৩৭তম স্থান অর্জন করেছে। ২০২৪ সালে এই বিভাগটির স্থান ছিল ৩৯তম।

প্রসঙ্গত, এই র‌্যাঙ্কিং নির্ধারণে ছাত্রভর্তিতে আকর্ষণ, প্রতিষ্ঠানের বয়স ও ব্র্যান্ড ভাবমূর্তি, প্লেসমেন্ট ও বিনিয়োগের রিটার্ন, শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতি ও পরিকাঠামো এবং শিল্প সংযোগ—এই পাঁচটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মানদণ্ড বিবেচনা করা হয়। সার্বিক মূল্যায়নে বিভাগটি মোট ৮৭৩.৬ স্কোর অর্জন করেছে এবং ‘ডিস্ট্যান্স টু ফ্রন্টিয়ার স্কোর’ হয়েছে ৫০.৭৪।

এই সাফল্যের পেছনে বিভাগটির শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকা, প্রশাসনিক কর্মী এবং ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টার ভূমিকা রয়েছে। ডিন অধ্যাপক এইচ. রামানন্দ সিং ও বিভাগীয় প্রধান অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষের দক্ষ নেতৃত্বে বিভাগটি ক্রমশ এগিয়ে চলেছে।

এ প্রসঙ্গে বিভাগীয় প্রধান অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষ বলেছেন, এই র‌্যাঙ্কিং মানসম্মত শিক্ষা প্রদান, শক্তিশালী শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতি এবং শিল্প-শিক্ষা সংযোগ আরও সুদৃঢ় করার ক্ষেত্রে বিভাগের নিরন্তর অঙ্গীকারেরই স্বীকৃতি।

Way2barak, December 16 : The Department of Business Administration of Assam University has registered a significant improvement in the prestigious Fortune India Best B-Schools Rankings 2025.

According to the latest survey released by Fortune India magazine on December 10, 2025, the department has climbed two positions in the Government Institutions category, securing the 37th rank as against 39th in the 2024 rankings. The achievement highlights the department’s sustained efforts towards academic excellence, industry engagement, and enhanced student outcomes.

The ranking framework evaluates institutions on five key parameters—Admission Attractiveness, Age and Brand Appeal, Placement and Return on Investment, Pedagogy and Infrastructure, and Industry Connect. In the overall assessment, the department scored a Total Score of 873.6 with a Distance to Frontier Score of 50.74, indicating its growing proximity to the national benchmark leaders.

The improved ranking has been attributed to the collective efforts of the faculty members, administrative staff, and students of the department. The department functions under the leadership of Dean Prof. H. Ramananda Singh and HOD Prof. Debomalya Ghosh, whose guidance has played a crucial role in the upward progress.

Expressing satisfaction over the achievement, Prof. Debomalya Ghosh stated that the improved ranking reflects the department’s continuous commitment to quality education, strong pedagogy, and a robust industry–academia interface, aimed at delivering holistic and competitive management education.
