1142 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday, state tally goes upto 32,228

July 26: On Saturday, a total of 1142 COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Assam. With this, the state tally has gone upto 32,228, out of which, 9091 are active cases. Sunday also registered 2 more deaths in the state, thereby taking the death tally to 79. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “Alert ~1142 #COVID patients detected out of the 20542 tests done in last 24 hrs.This means a low positivity rate of 5.55% – a good news. Guwahati- 171,Kamrup-188,Darrang 100.”
