Oct. 29: With an aim to provide succor to citizens, Government of Assam has launched Project Sadbhawna, under which old files pending at Secretariat (prior to May 10, 2021) will be cleared. To be completed by May 10, 2022, the project will also help in moving towards e-governance.
Taking to his twitter handle, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Reviewed revenue collection status of Tax, Excise, Forest, Land & Revenue, Mines & Minerals depts in presence of Hon’ble FM Smt @AjantaNeog. Directed officials to plug leakages and use technology to maximise revenue earnings & for optimum utilisation of State’s resources.”
We plan to start off the project by Nov 10. Citizens will be able to share their file numbers at Govt of Assam & RTPS portals, facilitation centres & at a dedicated counter outside Secretariat.
This will also help in focusing on governance and migrating to e-governance. pic.twitter.com/0aY63iOqnI
