SMC election counting teams to undergo specialised training on September 30

way2barak, September 29 : Training for Decoding Staff, Tabulators, personnel engaged in the sealing of counted ballots and other connected papers, and Transit Officers detailed for the counting of votes for the Silchar Municipal Corporation Election, 2026, will be held at Cachar College, Silchar, on September 30 from 2 PM onwards.

As per order, the following ALMTs and Master Trainers have been detailed to impart training to the respective categories of personnel.

For Decoding Staff, training will be held in Room No. 008 by Dr. Gongesh Bhattacharjee, ALMT and Assistant Professor, JNS College, Udharbond, and Dr. Swapan Das, ALMT and Assistant Professor, JNS College, Udharbond.

For Tabulators, the training will be conducted in Room No. 009 by S.B. Dutta Choudhury, Resource Person, Training Cell, Silchar Municipal Corporation Election, 2026 and Kishore Kumar Deb, ALMT and Assistant Teacher, H.B.D.S., Rajabazar, M.V. School.

Training on the sealing of counted ballots and other connected papers will be held in Room No. 010 by Sri Surojit Acharjee, ALMT and Assistant Teacher, Niranjan Paul Institute, Silchar, and Dr. Sandip Debnath, ALMT and PGT, DNNK H.S. School, Silchar.

For Transit Officers, training will be conducted in Room No. 016 by Dr. Pankaj Goswami, ALMT and Lecturer, Silchar Polytechnic, Silchar, and Jogendra Chandra Das, ALMT and Assistant Headmaster, KBJR Memorial HS School, Udharbond.

The training has been organised to familiarise the personnel with the procedures and responsibilities associated with their respective duties during the counting of votes.

The training will commence at 2 PM on September 30 at Cachar College, Silchar.
