Yogi appoints actress Kangana Ranaut as brand ambassador of UP’s ODOP programme

Oct. 1: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday appointed Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut as the Brand Ambassador of state’s ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) programme. One District One Product is a flagship programme of the UP government which aims to encourage the indigenous and specialised products and craft that each of the districts of the state has. Kangana Ranaut will be the brand ambassador of this programme.

Kangana ranaut met Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow on Friday. Though the CM’s office called it a courtesy meet, soon after the meeting, the government announced Kangana as the brand ambassador of the government’s ODOP programme.

Kangana appreciated the work of the Yogi government in UP while Adityanathji invited Kangana to Ayodhya to pay a visit to the holy land. Taking to her twitter handle, Kangana wrote, “Yogi Adityanath is exceptionally vibrant and genuine.” Further, UP CM gifted Kangana a coin used in Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan.
