Covishield at 7 centres & Covaxin at 1 centre to be given in Silchar on 2 Sept

Sept 1: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Wednesday stated that on-spot vaccination session for those above 18 years of age will take place at seven centres in Silchar on Thursday, where Covishield will be provided. Further, Covaxin will be administered at 01 centre.  A total of 2,800 doses of Covishield and 400 doses of Covaxin will be provided on 2 September. The vaccine doses on Thursday will be provided on the basis of on-spot registration.

Covishield will be provided in the following seven centres:

1. Nazirpatty Model School: 400 doses (2nd dose)
2. Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty : 400 doses (2nd dose)
3. Nityamoyee LP School, Tarapur: 400 doses (2nd dose)
4. Hazi Keramatullah Patshala, Water Works Road: 400 doses (2nd dose)
5. Abhya Charan Patshala, Sadarghat: 400 doses (2nd dose)
6. Shib Colony LP School: 400 doses (2nd dose)
7. Sree Pally LP School, Link Road: 400 doses (2nd dose)

Covaxin will be provided in the following centre:

1. Urban PHC, Trunk Road: At this centre, 200 doses of Covaxin will be provided (only 2nd dose) on the basis of on-spot registration for those above 18 plus and for the rest another 200 doses will be provided on Thursday.
