ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৯ আগস্ট : মহকুমা কল্যাণ বিভাগের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, ২০২৫–২৬ শিক্ষাবর্ষের জন্য আসামের সরকারি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে অধ্যয়নরত প্রথম থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণির তফশিলি জাতিভুক্ত শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রি-ম্যাট্রিক বৃত্তির জন্য আবেদনপত্র আহ্বান করা হয়েছে। কাছাড় জেলার প্রথম থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণির যোগ্য শিক্ষার্থীদের অনুরোধ করা হচ্ছে, যাতে তাঁরা যথানিয়মে আবেদন করেন। সংশ্লিষ্ট ইন্সপেক্টর অব স্কুলস, ডিআই. অব স্কুলস, ডিইইও. অথবা বিইইও. কর্তৃক যাচাই ও প্রেরিত আবেদনপত্রগুলো ৫ অক্টোবর, ২০২৫ তারিখের মধ্যে মহকুমা কল্যাণ আধিকারিকের দপ্তরে জমা দিতে হবে।

শিক্ষার্থীরা বা তাঁদের অভিভাবকরা নির্ধারিত আবেদনপত্র সমাজ কল্যাণ ও ক্ষমতায়ন বিভাগ, তফশিলি জাতি ও অনগ্রসর শ্রেণি কল্যাণ অধিদপ্তর, অসম সরকার-এর অফিসিয়াল ওয়েবসাইট directorwsc.assam.gov.in থেকে ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন। বৃত্তির জন্য আবেদন করতে হলে শিক্ষার্থীর অভিভাবক বা অভিভাবিকার বাৎসরিক আয় সমস্ত উৎস মিলিয়ে সর্বোচ্চ ২.৫০ লক্ষ টাকা হতে হবে। আবেদনপত্রের সঙ্গে শিক্ষার্থীদের তিনটি নথির স্ব-স্বাক্ষরিত অনুলিপি জমা দিতে হবে— পিতা-মাতার মধ্যে একজনের সঙ্গে যৌথ ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্টের পাসবুকের প্রথম পৃষ্ঠা, বৈধ জাতি সনদপত্র এবং সার্কল অফিসার কর্তৃক প্রদত্ত বাৎসরিক আয় সনদপত্র।

বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক সমস্ত আবেদনপত্র সংগ্রহের পর নির্দিষ্ট বিন্যাসে একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ তালিকা প্রস্তুত করে, মূল আবেদনপত্র এবং প্রয়োজনীয় নথিসহ উপ-বিভাগীয় কল্যাণ আধিকারিকের দপ্তরে জমা দেবেন। এই উদ্যোগের উদ্দেশ্য হলো তফশিলি জাতিভুক্ত শিক্ষার্থীদের আর্থিক সহায়তা প্রদান করা, যাতে আর্থিক অসুবিধা তাঁদের শিক্ষার পথে অন্তরায় হয়ে না দাঁড়ায়।

Way2barak, August 19 : The Office of the Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer has announced that applications are now open for the Pre-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste students studying in Classes I to VIII in Government Educational Institutions across Assam for the academic year 2025–26. Eligible students of Class I to VIII of Cachar District are requested to apply accordingly through the Head of their respective schools. The filled-in applications, duly verified and forwarded by the concerned Inspector of Schools, D.I. of Schools, D.E.E.O. or B.E.E.O., must reach the office of the Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer on or before October 5, 2025.

Students or guardians can download the prescribed application form from the official website of the Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Government of Assam, at directorwsc.assam.gov.in under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. To qualify for the scholarship, the annual income of parents or guardians must not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh from all sources. Applicants are required to submit the prescribed application form along with self-attested copies of three documents: the front page of a joint bank account passbook with one of the parents, a valid caste certificate, and an annual income certificate issued by the Circle Officer.

Once the applications are collected, the Head of the Institution will prepare a consolidated list of applicants with all necessary details and forward it, along with the original forms and supporting documents, to the office of the Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer. The scholarship is aimed at providing financial assistance to students from Scheduled Caste families to ensure that economic barriers do not come in the way of their education.
