405 tests COVID-19 +ve in Assam on Saturday, 2 deaths registered
Active cases 1,587 in the state
April 10: On Saturday, out of 68,075 tests, 405 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,19,958. The positivity rate in the state is 0.59 percent. At present, there are 1,587 active cases in the state. Kamrup (M) district recorded 145 cases during the day.
On Saturday, 79 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,15,907, patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. The recovery rate in the state is 98.16%.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19, out of them, one is from Baksa and the other from Kamrup Metro. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,117.
