2 in oxygen support out of 6 active cases at SMCH on Sunday

Feb. 6: There has been a gradual decline in the number of daily positive cases in Cachar district. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 5 February to 5 PM on 6 February) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Sunday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 6 February, there were 06 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, no patients were put under ventilator support, and 02 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 02 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 01 was discharged. A total of 01 patient was detected positive in RAT at SMCH and none in RTPCR on Sunday.
