COVID Commander Himanta puts on PPE Kit, enters COVID ward at GMCH

July 4: On Saturday, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma went inside the COVID-19 Ward ICU at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH). Ofcourse, the minister took all protection before entering the COVID-19 ward. The minister wore PPE Kit and entered into the COVID ward. He interacted with the coronavirus positive patients inside the ward and also enquired about their health status.

Sharing the information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “To enquire health of patients I went to #COVID19 Ward ICU at GMCH, after putting on PPE kit. Doctors are taking admirable care of patients including providing dialysis etc. Patients say they feel enormously protected. Such dedication can be for nothing else but for humanity.”

Expressing reaction, a twitterati wrote, “Any Health Minister in any other State has shown this courage?
