Global Hindu Heritage Foundation distributes food materials & water among flood victims in Tarapur

May 19: In order to commemorate the sacrifices of the language martyr’s and also to help the flood effected people, the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation today donated around 50 food packets, consisting of rice grains, Biscuits, Maggi, Potato and Soyabeans today in the two flood relief camps of Shyamacharan Dev Vidyapith and Ramkumar Nandi Pathshala of Tarapur, Sichar. Along with food materials, each family there were supplied pure drinking waters by the organisation.

On behalf of the organisation, Sayan Paul said, “Every year we commemorate the Martyr’s Day on 19 May with much pride and set of cultural events in Silchar, but this year, there is a humanitarian crisis growing due to the flood . We have therefore tried to reach out to as many people as possible with relief items, as per our limited capacity. We have to fight this calamity together and our organisation is working with utmost dedication in that direction.”
