103 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Monday, 88 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec. 27: On Monday, out of 33,129 tests, 1033 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,20,237. The positivity rate in the state is 0.31 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 51 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,158. The recovery rate is 98.67 percent. Also, 88 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 741 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 53 persons tested positive in Assam and 01 death was registered.
