Ranoj Pegu lays foundation stone of new building of Shyamacharan Dev Vidyapith as MLA Model School in Silchar

way2barak, Nov.28: A day ahead of the Cabinet Meeting in Silchar, Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu on Monday laid the foundation stone of new building of Shyamacharan Dev Vidyapith as MLA Model School in the presence of Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy and MLA Dipayan Chakraborty.

The total cost of the project is Rs.7.50 crore. As the 1st installment, Rs. 40 lakh was sanctioned from the Untied Fund of 2020-21 and 2021-22.

শিলচৰ বিধানসভা সমষ্টিৰ বিধায়কৰ মডেল স্কুল হিচাপে নিৰ্মাণ কৰিবলগীয়া শ্যামচৰণ দেৱ বিদ্যাপীঠ হাইস্কুলত এক নতুন বিদ্যালয় ভৱনৰ আধাৰশিলা স্থাপন কৰোঁ। নতুন বিদ্যালয় ভৱনৰ বাবে ২০২০-২১ আৰু ২০২১-২২ বৰ্ষৰ আনটাইড ফাণ্ডৰ পৰা প্ৰাৰম্ভিক ৪০ লাখ টকাৰ ব্যয় ধাৰ্য কৰা হৈছে। 1/2 pic.twitter.com/jtf4umgyo4

Expressing his views, MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, “Today while uploading this post I’m really nostalgic and at the same time overjoyed. My school Shyamacharan Dev Vidyapith has been chosen as M.L.A. Model School, Silchar. The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Ranoj Pegu laid the foundation stone for the project in the august presence of Dr. Rajdeep Roy, M. P., Silchar and myself.”
