1227 patients discharged in Assam on Sunday

Oct. 11: On Sunday, 1227 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,64,579 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. At present, there are 28,385 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1227 patients discharged Today the no. of discharged patients is more than thrice to that of new patients. We are doing better each day. Gratitude to doctors.”

On Sunday, 396 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,93,783. During the day, 11,376 tests were done in Assam. Moreover, during the day, another 05 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 816.
