CBSE 10th and 12th Board exams postponed due to corona threat

March 18: The Ministry of Human Resource Development on Wednesday directed the CBSE and all educational institutions in the country to postpone exams till March 31 in view of the coronavirus outbreak. ”

In the notification released, the CBSE Board announced that, “All ongoing examinations of the board of classes 10 and 12, being held in examination centres in India and abroad, and scheduled between March 19, 2020 to March 31, 2020 (both dates inclusive), shall be rescheduled after March 31, 2020.”

“While maintenance of academic calendar and exam schedule is important, equally important is safety and security of students who are appearing in various examinations as also of their teachers and parents,” HRD secretary Amit Khare said in official communication.
