Local Holiday declared in Cachar on Friday on account of Kali Puja & Diwali

Nov. 2: In connection with Kali Puja and Diwali, Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner has issued an order under NI Act as per which local holiday has been declared throughout the district of Cachar on Friday. The order served by the Deputy Commissioner  on 2 November, stated that all state government offices, revenue and magisterial courts and educational institutions will remain closed on that day.

The holiday will not affect emergency services and all duties and services related to various kinds of examination/ written test/ interviews etc. ancillary services related thereto.
