To make pension disbursement hassle-free, Govt of Assam facilitates Digital Life Certificate through Jeevan Pramaan

way2barak, Dec.5:  Striving to provide relief to the pensioners, Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma dedicated Pension Sewa Kendra (PSK) on 29 July, 2022 under Project Kritagyata. Retirees can now submit Jeevan Pramaan – an Aadhar-based biometric-enabled digital life certificate developed by NIC at Pension Sewa Kendras.

Digital Life Certificate at Pension Sewa Kendra:

Pension Sewa Kendra Centres across Assam have started generating the Digital Life Certificate through Jeevan Pramaan portal using biometric devices that is made available by the Government of Assam. Pensioners have started submitting their Digital life certificates from various PSK centers, Post Offices and also from home using their own mobile phones.

Awareness camps for Pensioners: 

District Administration have started awareness camps at the Pension Sewa Kendras. State Administration at the same time has also started awareness in this regard through various modes including digital publicities in the Assam Secretariat. Indian Post Payments Bank (IPPB) have started their camps across the districts in assisted mode by giving doorstep delivery of the Digital Life Certificate services implemented by the Government of Assam in collaboration with NIC to the pensioners.

A sizeable number of Assam Government Pensioners have submitted their Digital Life Certificates through Jeevan Pramaan. All the State Government pensioners were asked to submit their Digital Life Certificates by visiting the nearest Pension Sewa Kendra, Post Offices or by downloading the Mobile Face App from https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in. Pensioners can also request the nearest post offices for doorstep services of Jeevan Pramaan.
